Sopore : Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Raina Monday imposed a fine of Rs.100,000/= on the Food business operator who was caught kneading the dough with feet in Sopore.
According to Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, The adjudicating officer Dr. Zahoor Ahmad (ADC Baramulla) while adjudicating on a complaint under section-56 & 58 of Food Safety and Standards Act-2006 imposed a fine of Rs.100,000/= on the Food business operator.
The complaint was preferred by Mubashir Hassan Food Safety Officer Sopore against the Food business operator Zuaeb Hasan of Moradabad Uttarpradesh whose workers were caught kneading the dough in an unethical manner, with feet vis-a-vis running the unit in an unsanitary and unhygienic conditions which otherwise could have rendered serious health implications.
The order to this effect was issued by A.O Baramulla on 09.05.2022 wherein likewise other food business operators have also been directed to mend their ways of business or face the wrath of law in a more stringent way.
Pertinently, a video of non-local employee was allegedly seen kneading dough with feet in a bakery unit in Sopore last month.
