Srinagar, July 04: Kokernag police on Saturday claimed to have destroyed illegal poppy in 30 kanals of land in the Loharsenzi village of South Kashmir.
Police in a statement to Kashmir Despatch said in continuation to the special drive launched by Kokernag Police for destroying illegal poppy cultivation, today a team of Police destroyed a huge junk of cultivated poppy spread over more than 30 Kanals of land in village Loharsenzi.
The drive was launched under the supervision of SHO Kokernag, SDM and other police officials.
