Kulgam Attack : Baramulla Advocate turned BJP worker resigns

Baramulla, Oct 31 : A wave of fear has gripped among political leaders, activists in parts of Kashmir after the killing of three BJP workers in southern region of Kashmir on Thursday.

Details available with Kashmir Despatch a BJP worker from North Kashmir’s Baramulla district wrote on social media that he along with his two colleagues are disassociating from the basic membership of BJP party.

The post as per Kashmir Despatch reads, “To all my Dear Friends and Kashmiri People !!
I Disassociate my Self along with My two Colleagues Named as Touseef Lateef and Mudasir Dar from the Basic Membership as well as Posts held within The BJP Party.We will Re-think over it and will Get back To You.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Friday said that Lashkar-e-Toiba militants are behind the Kulgam attack in which three BJP workers were killed on late Thursday evening.

“We have identified the militants and the vehicle has been seized in  Achabal area of Anantnag. Investigation is going on,” he said.
