The Indian Army and Awam of Gurez welcomed the Kupwara Poonch Bike Rally at Dawar, Gurez.
A total of 21 civilians from all across UT participated in this Bike Rally.
The aim of the Bike Rally is to promote tourism in the valley.
The Bike Rally reached Gurez from Machal on 30 Aug 2022 and proceeded to Uri on the morning of 31 Aug 2022.
The Bikers in the rally are travelling a distance of 1150 kms in seven days, In the days ahead the expedition team plans to cover legendary and historical locations of Bandipora, Uri, Srinagar, Peer Gali and Poonch spreading the message of peace and harmony.
The Bikers interacted with Cdr 109 Inf Bde over a cup of coffee where the bikers appreciated the efforts being undertaken by the Indian Army to promote Gurez as Tourist Destination.
