Lawapora encounter: Dead bodies of alleged three militants will not be handed over to families: IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 18 : IGP Kashmir zone Vijay Kumar on Monday said that the dead bodies of slain in Lawaypora encounter will not be handed over to their families amid COVID pandemic.

IGP Kashmir Zone K Vijay Kumar during a function of traffic police department here told reporters that the dead bodies of slain in Lawaypora encounter in which three militants were killed will not be handed over to their families amid COVID19 pandemic.

IGP said that the three militants killed in the Lawaypora encounter were providing logistic support to militants. Their involvement has proved almost sixty percent and will convenience according to their parents as we are collecting more data, he added. (KDC)
