LeT militant killing in Srinagar

No militant from city in ranks now : IGP

Srinagar, July 26 : Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar Sunday said that no militant from Srinagar district is in militant group after Saturday encounter at Ranbirgarh area in outskirts of Srinagar.

“After killing of LeT militant Ishfaq Rashid Khan yesterday, no resident of Srinagar district in militant ranks now: IGP Kashmir @JmuKmrPolice,” he Tweeted as per Kashmir Despatch.
He however recently said Srinagar can’t be militancy free as militants do come in summer capital for the treatment.

Two militants of LeT were killed Saturday in an encounter including Ishfaq Rashid Khan, a Srinagar resident.
