Boniyar : The Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha inaugurated the new ‘Dagger Heritage Complex’ at Boniyar town of District Baramulla, marking a significant milestone in the cultural and tourism development of the region.

The Dagger Heritage Complex, a testament of the rich history & cultural heritage of the area, features the Kashmir’s illuminated heritage alongside a captivating Laser, Light & Sound Show, Formation Museum and a comprehensive Heritage Gallery.

During the inauguration ceremony, Hon’ble Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha expressed his appreciation and congratulated the Chinar Corps & Dagger Division for their efforts in hosting this prestigious event.
He emphasized that this initiative led by the 15 JAKLI of Indian Army holds a special place in the hearts of locals and is a true reflection of harmonious relationship between ‘Awaam aur Jawan’. The Hon’ble Lt Governor highlighted the potential of Dagger Heritage Complex in enhancing border tourism, attracting numerous visitors to this serene location.

The event was attended by Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, AVSM, SM***, GOC Chinar Corps, Maj Gen Rajesh Sethi, SM, VSM, GOC Dagger Division, Shri Vivek Gupta, DIG North Kashmir Zone, Shri Minga Sherpa, DC Baramulla, and other officials of the UT administration.
In his address, the Hon’ble Lt Governor also commended the Indian Army for its unwavering dedication to the nation and its proactive role in promoting cultural events of such magnitude.
