Admin Implements Guidelines to Regulate Vehicle Entry and Parking at Civil Secretariat During Budget Session 2025

Jammu, Feb 28: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, will address the members of the Legislative Assembly at the Legislative Assembly complex in Jammu on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
The address, regarded as a formal and solemn occasion, will be delivered in the presence of all members of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, who have been requested in a communication to take their seats five minutes before the arrival of the Lieutenant Governor.
Members have been instructed to maintain decorum and attentively listen to the address.
“The session will begin with the National Anthem, which will be played by the band as the Lieutenant Governor arrives at the dais, and again after the conclusion of the address. All relevant parties, including the Chief Minister, the Speaker, and various administrative departments, have been informed of the event.”
The address will be broadcast and telecast by Doordarshan Kendra and All India Radio, ensuring wide coverage across both Jammu and Srinagar.
Meanwhile, in light of the upcoming J&K Legislative Assembly Budget Session 2025 of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, and to regulate the entry and parking of vehicles in and around the premises of the Civil Secretariat, the following guidelines have been issued for strict adherence by all concerned:

During the session, no private vehicles of employees, including police personnel (Security), shall be allowed inside the Civil Secretariat premises in Jammu.
The parking space available in the new (under construction) Assembly Complex shall be utilized for parking private vehicles of Civil Secretariat employees on a first-come, first-served basis. No other vehicles, such as escorts or media, shall be parked in the designated area earmarked for Civil Secretariat employees.
All officers and officials working in the Civil Secretariat are urged to extend full support and cooperation to the Senior Superintendent of Police (Security), Civil Secretariat, in regulating the movement and parking of vehicles.
Furthermore, all Administrative Secretaries are requested to bring these instructions to the attention of all employees working in their respective departments for strict compliance.
