Srinagar, August 31: The month of August ends on a rainy note; cloudy weather with sunny breaks as light to moderate rains to continue till September 4.
Most parts of J&K witnessed rain showers on Monday morning. Rains brought down the day temperature with Srinagar City recording a maximum temperature of 22.4°C.
Kashmir Weather infoemed this newspaper that Srinagar recorded 11.2mm rains from 8:30a.m. till 5:30p.m.
Reports of hefty showers were received from Jammu, Katra & Udhampur areas in the morning.
As per Kashmir Weather, “Mostly cloudy weather is expected tomorrow with a high around 23°C – 25°C, scattered showers are possible in the morning and afternoon.
On 2nd September, weather will stay mostly cloudy, sunny breaks in the clouds are possible.
Temperature will stay in the range of 24 – 27°C.
Showers may return on Wednesday evening and may continue on 3rd and 4th September keeping high temperatures cooler.
