‘Army man sustains minor injuries’

Bandipora, Jul 30 : An Army man received minor injuries after an unexploded mortar shell found in Chrowan village of Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district was destroyed on Friday.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that local residents noticed the suspicious object at Chrowan village, located close to LoC and informed the police about it.

The Army personnel from 09-Rajput unit immediately rushed to the spot and destroyed the unexploded shell during which a soldier identified as Sepoy Jai-Chand received minor injuries—(KNO)
