The authorities plan to put in place restrictions in the other districts while making sure necessary measures like social distancing are followed. This means mass gatherings like religious festivals and marriages will also not be allowed.

Currently standing at 110 positive cases in the state, the decision steps to take after the lockdown will be specified depending on how the situation unfolds in the next two weeks. As per the Chief Minister, a task force will be set up to advise the government on measures to be taken. Furthermore, the Prime Minister’s video conference also included advice to popularise Ayush (Ayurveda, yoga & naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and homoeopathy) guidelines. As such, the Karnataka government will be getting Ayush doctors on board so that there’s no shortage of professionals in the medical facilities reported Times of India.
