Awantipora, Sep 25: Students from Lyceum International School Pulwama visited CIED–IUST Foundation, Campus-III, as part of an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) designed to foster innovation, career readiness and entrepreneurial thinking among young learners.
Prof. Parvez A. Mir, CEO, CIED–IUST Foundation, warmly welcomed the students and introduced them to the Foundation’s vision and objectives. He highlighted the institution’s commitment to expanding educational opportunities and addressing the unique aspirations of students through impactful outreach initiatives. He also emphasized the importance of continuing mathematics as a subject at least until graduation, underscoring its value as a foundation for diverse academic and career pathways.
Syed Abdul Basit Andrabi, CEO, DST i-TBI at CIED–IUST Foundation, further elaborated on the wide range of programs offered under CIED. He placed special emphasis on career guidance and skill development, advising students to explore the dynamic fields of innovation and entrepreneurship and the diverse career prospects they present. He also encouraged the students to actively pursue skill development courses to enhance their competencies and future opportunities.
As part of an immersive learning experience, the students toured various technology and innovation labs, including the C4i4 Lab, DND Lab, Computer Lab and Ultratech Cement Lab. They also engaged in hands-on activities with advanced tools such as 3D printers, 3D Scanners, PCB prototyping machines, CNC machines and laser cutting equipment, which offered them practical insights into real-world technological applications.
The visit proved to be both insightful and inspiring, equipping the students with valuable exposure, resources and a glimpse into future opportunities.
