Man critically injured in bear attack in Handwara

Handwara, July 30 : A man was critically injured after a bear attacked him in Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday morning.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said Qasim Dar son of Hassan Dar of Manzpora Qalamabad sustained grievous injuries after being attacked by wild bear.

According to sources, Dar had gone to his orchards to when the incident took place,
After he raised an alarm farmers nearby rushed to the spot and rescued him from wild bear reports added.

However, injured Dar was taken to the nearby hospital where doctors reffered him to Handwara hospital for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile a local doctor also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch about this incident.
