Man found dead in Handwara

Handwara, Feb 20 : Body of a man was found in Handwara town of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday morning.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that locals spotted the body and informed the nearby police station, following which a police team reached the spot and retrieved the body.

Sources however identified the man as Mohammad Amin Tantary a resident of Khunbal.

Meanwhile an official told Kashmir Despatch that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation taken up.
