Man held for ‘campaign’ against Kashmiri students studying outside: Police

Srinagar, Jan 21 : Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday claimed to have arrested a man from South Kashmir’s Anantnag district for allegedly carrying out a scandalous online campaign against Kashmiri students studying outside.

Police in a tweet said that the online campaign against Kashmiri students studying outside is causing anguish to students and parents.

Police said that a case under FIR number 23/2022 at P/S Anantnag stands registered under relevant sections of law.

“Police #arrested Iftikhar Ahmad Dar from #Anantnag for carrying scandalous online campaign against Kashmiri students studying outside, causing anguish to students and parents. FIR No. 23/2022 at P/S Anantnag stands registered under relevant sections of law,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
