Pattan, 6 April : A 55-year-old man was killed in a scuffle over land dispute in Gund-Ibrahim Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday .
Local sources said that the two neighbors had assembled to sort out some land dispute, however it happened that during the course of meeting the another neighbor started exchanging heated arguments.
The argument only intensified with time, leading to a scuffle, a source said adding a few members from the other side attacked the opposite party which resulted grievous injuries to a person identified as sannualla dar.
He was later taken to nearby hospital for advanced treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital .
An police official also confirmed the incident, adding that a case has been registered in and further investigation has been initiated.
