Man suffers knife injuries in attack by brother over alleged land dispute in Bandipora

Srinagar, 13 Mar : A man in north Kashmir’s Bandipora tried to kill his brother by attacking him with sharp weapon over alleged land dispute.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a man identified as Aijaz Ahmed of Nadihal Bandipora on Friday evening sustained serious injuries after his brother attacked him with a knife over family land dispute.

Reports said Aijaz was injured during a brawl and was rushed to District hospital Bandipora for treatment.

Hospital authorities while sharing the details of incident to Kashmir Despatch said Aijaz was recieved with multiple injuries and after giving first aid he was referred to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.

A police officer also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch and said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up as per law.
