Man wounded in bear attack in Boniyar

Uri , Oct 17 : One person was injured when attacked by a black bear in Tarkanjan Boniyar area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saunday.

Reports reaching GNS said that the 48-year-old man Khurshid Ahmad Khan son of Muzaffer Din Khan of Hundi, Tarkanjan Boniyar was attacked by a black bear in his native village. He suffered wounds in his head and forehead and was immediately shifted to PHC Boniyar for treatment where he was reffered to GMC Baramulla for specialized treatment.

Meanwhile reports from village Kamalkote and Bilalabad Garkote said that wild beasts have been spotted from several days.(GNS)
