Mason succumbs to injuries after beaten by co workers in Baramulla

Baramulla : One person died after he was reportedly injured in a scuffle with co-workers in the Delina area of Baramulla district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that as per the preliminary reports, a 58 year old person namely Ghulam Nabi Lone son of Ghulam Ahmad Lone, a resident of Ushkara Baramulla was injured in a scuffle with his co-workers at Delina area of Baramulla.

“The injured person was shifted to district hospital Baramulla for immediate treatment where he was shifted to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment,” the official added.

Ghulam Nabi Lone was a mason by profession and was working for a contractor at an under construction building in Delina.

Police sources said that the injured was shifted to Srinagar hospital where doctors declared him dead.

“Two persons have been arrested and investigation in the case is going on,” they added.
