JKGCWF condoles demise; expresses solidarity

SRINAGAR, Mar 10: Revered master and social activist Bashir Ahmad Ganaie son of Late Sanullah Ganaie resident of Kreeri Baramulla passed away in harness after a brief spell of illness at SMHS here on Thursday.
Ganaie was presently working as headteacher at Government Middle School Suchipora Zone Wagoora district Baramulla. His contribution in the field of education for the last over thirty years is being widely acknowledged by the people in the area wherever he served during his tenure.
A pall of gloom descended in Kreeri tehsil and its adjoining villages soon after the news of Ganaie’s death came from the hospital where he was under treatment for the last over a few days.
His funeral prayers were held at Kreeri where he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard. People from all walks of life visited the bereaved family to offer their condolences.
Various associations have condoled the demise of Master Bashir Ahmad terming him a great teacher who had dedicated his life for imparting quality education to the students in his area.
In a statement issued here, President Jammu and Kashmir General Category Welfare Forum, Syed Shameem Ahmad Bukhari expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Master Bashir Ahmad saying that his death has created a huge void in the teachers fraternity which is hard to be filled.
“In Bashir Saheb, we have lost a noble soul, a noted teacher, a social activist, a philanthropist and above all a great human being. I on behalf of JKGCWF express solidarity with the bereaved family and pray for the eternal peace to the departed soul. May Almighty Allah bestow endurance to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss,” Bukhari said, in a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch.
Kashmir Despatch, management and editorial staff also condoled the demise of Bashir Ahmad Ganaie and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
