Srinagar, June 24 : The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Jammu, has arrested Yatin Yadav, son of Sh. Deshraj Yadav, on 24th June 2024. He alleged to be the mastermind behind the paper leak of the JKSSB Sub Inspector Exam conducted on 27th March 2022.
The arrest follows an investigation initiated by ED based on an FIR and Chargesheet filed by the CBI against Yadav and other accused individuals.
Yadav is accused of orchestrating a meticulously planned operation involving accomplices in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir to distribute leaked exam papers to candidates in exchange for payments ranging from Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh.
Payments were reportedly collected in cash or deposited into bank accounts linked to Yadav.
Earlier, ED had attached movable properties, including bank balances associated with Yadav, M/s New Global Fumigation Corporation, Prop.
Yatin Yadav, and others, totaling approximately Rs. 1 crore under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
