KUPWARA, MARCH 14: The two days meeting on Drug de-addiction successfully concluded at Environment Hall Handwara, today.
The meeting was a part of a series of activities being conducted by the District Administration from March 02 to 21st March on the theme” Nasha Mukhth Bharat –Crusade against Narco Terrorism”, in the district.
The meeting was attended by Dr Javid Iqbal Dar, Health Department , Tehsil Social Welfare officer Handwara, experts from School education and other departments, and PRI members, Teachers and parents from block Ramhall, Tarathpora and other adjoining blocks.
On the occasion Dr Javid Iqbal and other experts briefed the participants about different issues associated with substance use, and exhorted them to come forward and contribute in ending this menace from the society.
The third phase of the programme will be held tomorrow at town Hall kupwara as per schedule for participants of block Ramhall, Tarthpora, Redi Chokibal, Mealy and Kralpora.
