Srinagar, Mar 04 : Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said that its great to hear about Mirwaiz’s release from arbitrary detention.
Mehbooba as per Kashmir Despatch in a tweet said, Good to hear about Mirwaiz’s release from arbitrary detention.
She said that, I hope that hundreds of Kashmiri men languishing in jails in & outside J&K will also be released soon. Its time they returned home to their families she added.
Pertinently, PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti, has approached J&K High Court for issuance of passport allegedly denied to her for want for police verification.
In her plea before the court, Mehbooba Mufti said that the passport issued to her was valid till 31st May 2019.She applied for issuance of a passport before regional Passport Officer on 11 December last year.
