‘Z-Plus security, anti national utterances can’t go together’

SRINAGAR, Oct 27: BJP National General Secretary, and incharge J&K, Tarun Chugh Thursday lambasted on PDP president on her remarks on accession day, saying “Mehbooba is frustrated from PM Narendra Modi’s public outreach and youth engagement in J&K”.
The BJP leader said Mehbooba should have thought thousands of times before uttering against the national integrity as she and her Late father have taken oath of the constitution of the country before assuming offices of Home Minister and Chief Minister respectively.
“Mehbooba Mufti is availing Z plus security. She is being guarded by Police, CRPF and other security agencies. She is availing every benefit from New Delhi. But unfortunately she is simultaneously uttering against the country and its sovereignty, which is intolerable and unacceptable”, the BJP leader said.
The BJP leader said that Mehbooba like politicians are playing politics with innocent masses of J&K and it is why she is trying to incite and provoke youth of Kashmir against the country but the youth are very much aware about PM Modi’s youth-friendly policies that however have frustrated her deeply.
He said the youth of J&K have started their new journey under PM Modi’s leadership. They have left stone pelting, hartals etc and have been much benefitted by PM Modi’s Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikaas initiative which has irked the regional political parties deeply.
Notably the former chief minister of J&K, Mehbooba Mufti on October 26 had said that “If Government of India does not restore the conditions of Instrument of Accession then their control on Jammu and Kashmir stands illegal”. She had made these remarks at party headquarters where she addressed party leaders and workers.
The BJP National General Secretary, Tarun Chugh added the BJP believes all citizens of the country as a single clan. “Whether you belong to Kashmir or UP, Madya Pradesh or Mizoram, every citizen is same and is entitled to avail every right within the constitution”, he said.
He also said Mehbooba like political leaders must keep this word in their minds that BJP will retrieve PoK soon from the clutches of Pakistan, which leaves no stone unturned to harm peace of Jammu and Kashmir.
The BJP leader continued that youth of J&K have pinned their hope on the PM Modi led Government. “The youth of J&K were exploited, ignored and misused by previous governments for their political and pitiful gains”, he added.
“J&K is reformed after August 5, 2019. There is peace and serenity on the ground. So Mehbooba should come clean about why she is trying to damage the peaceful atmosphere in the UT”, he added. (KNS)
