Militancy at last stage in North Kashmir: DGP Kashmir

No change in operation all out even in winters

Baramulla, Nov 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief Dilbagh Singh on Sunday said that militancy in North Kashmir is almost at last stage as forces have succeed at the larger extend.

As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Police Chief talking with media in the sidelines of sports function in north Kashmir’s Baramulla, said that militancy in North Kashmir at last stage, he said so far we have good hold as militancy is almost under control and I hope with the help of other security agencies soon it will be free region.

DGP said that there will be no changes in anti-militancy operations in Kashmir valley despite winter is coming.

He said like last year anti-militancy operations took place and same will be this winter, as militants here in Kashmir on the instructions of Pakistan have started killing innocent people, he said will not make their mission success and our efforts are on for the protection and safeguard of people of our valley.

DIG said while appreciating the efforts of Jammu and Kashmir Police for organising sports events said this attempt will continue in near future for the welfare of young generation.

He said we are here to work for peace and prosperity.
