Militant held in Pulwama

Pulwama,Oct 29 : Forces on Thursday claimed to have arrested a local militant in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that during naka which was laid by a joint team of Army’s 44RR, SOG and CRPF at Bellow area one local militant was arrested.

A police officer also confirmed this development to Kashmir Despatch and Identified arrested militant as Irshad Ahmad Dar son of Ali Mohammad Dar of Khanka Bagh Pulwama.

The officer said two Chinese grenades alongwith one magazine with 6 live rounds were recovered from his procession.

The officer further added that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
