Srinagar, April 23 : Militants abducted a policeman from his home in Chatwatan area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on late Thursday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a policeman identified as Javeed Ahmad Parray, was kidnapped from outside his residence at Chatwatan Shopian by militants late this evening.
A police officer also confirmed to this newspaper and said we have launched a massive manhunt to trace him in and around Shopian district.
It has heen learnt that the policeman was presently posted at Zakura.
