SRINAGAR, July 23 : A 12-year-old boy died on Thursday after drowning in the nallah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 12-year-old boy identified as Umar Farooq War son of Farooq Ahmad War resident of Manzgam Tarathpora Ramhall died after drowning in nallah Kahmil in Manzgam when he was bathing with other friends.
However, locals present there retrieved the body and was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
Meanwhile police took cognizance of this incident.
