Srinagar, June 09: A 2-year old minor girl died on Tuesday afternoon after she drowned into a Nallah in Wagoora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch, said a two-year-old girl (name withheld) slipped in a stream Khalari ( nallah) when she was playing near it outside her home.
Soon after the incident, the locals rushed to the spot and retrieved the body of the minor. However, she was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead reports added.
A police officer also confirmed this incident to Kashmir Despatch and said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been taken up.
