Investigation started, victim undergoing treatment at GMC hospital
Rajouri : A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped in a village of Rajouri district while police has detained two boys for questioning and started investigation into the matter, officials said.
Officials told that the girl, aged between four to five years, is undergoing treatment at Governement Medical College (GMC) Hospital Rajouri, adding that her health is reportedly not stable yet.
They said the incident took place on Saturday following which police detained two boys, who are victim’s relatives and are suspected to be juvenile.
“We are investigating the matter and no more comments can be made at this time,” said a senior police officer—(KNO)
