Latief Khan Gurezi urges District Administration to extend all possible help to fire victims
Gurez, October 11: Apni Party leader, Latief Khan Gurezi on Sunday expressed deep shock and grief over a fire incident at Baduab Tulail in which several residential houses were gutted.
In a statement issued here, Gurezi demanded immediate rehabilitation of the fire-affected families and urged the district administration to depute a revenue team to the spot to assess the losses at the earliest.
“The district administration should immediately disburse ex-gratia relief to the fire victim families. The district administration should also ensure proper rehabilitation of the fire victims, besides paying them adequate compensation,” he added.
The Apni Party leader also appealed to the administration that people have lost their livestock and houses, need immediate relief. He also said that harsh winter is coming and the people can’t build infrastructure in these grim times.
“Such tragic incidents at times prove fatal for precious human lives besides causing irreparable damages to the properties,” he said.
He also expressed solidarity with the fire-affected families and assured them of every possible help.
