Minor injured after army vehicle hits car in North Kashmir

Handwara: A four-year-old minor boy was injured after the car in which he was traveling was hit by an army vehicle in Handwara village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.


Reports reaching said the accident took place this afternoon on Baramulla-Handwara highway at Palpora when an army vehicle hit the car coming from the opposite direction.


In the mishap, a four-year-old was injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.


A police officer also confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch and said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. The officer identified injured as Afaq Bashir Dar son of Bashir Ahmed Dar of Palpora Qaziabad.
