September 21: Police in Laddo village of Khrew Awantipora arrested 03 persons who were responsible for threatening and intimidation of locals via publishing of posters.
On a credible input, a police party near Androosa crossing intercepted a vehicle Datsun Go car bearing registration no. JK01AB-4180 in which few individuals who were responsible for intimidation and threatening of locals were moving around in the area.
Police party intercepted the vehicle borne persons who were identified as Showkat Ahmad Mir of Kadlabal Pampore, Inayatullah Khan and Shabir Ahmad Reshi both residents of Nagbal Laddo. They have been taken into custody.
The initial investigations revealed that they were involved in publication of threatening posters at Laddo Chowk issued by proscribed terror outfit JeM.
Police has registered a case in the matter under relevant sections of law and incriminating material including posters have been seized by the police. Further investigation in the matter is in progress.
