Miscreants set ablaze cricket mats in Delina Baramulla

Baramulla, Mar 31 : In an unfortunate incident, miscreants on Wednesday morning set ablaze two cricket mats in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that an unfortunate incident took place at higher secondary ground in Delina village, where allegedly a group of persons set ablaze two cricket mats.

In the incident besides cricket mats other property of ground including dressing room was damaged.

Taking with Kashmir Despatch Imtiyaz Dar , Vice President Of Delina Cricket Forum said that “We came to know about the incident at 11:30 am and accordingly we rushed to the spot the and found mates were completely burned, we have registered a case in this regard at nearly police post and we hope the culprits will be soon held because it was an attempt to damage the school property as well” he added.

Meanwhile a police officer told Kashmir Despatch that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been set up.
