Missing Kupwara man found dead, Body recovered from Jehlum

Srinagar, Jun 10  : The body of a Kupwara resident, who went missing last week, was recovered from river jehlum in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.

Reports reaching said the body of Sharuf Mustafa son of Ghulam Mustafa resident of Gundishort Karnah Kupwara,was missing from Srinagar since 01 June 2019 and his body was recovered from the river jehulm at in Bandipora village.

Reports said the body was spotted by the locals of Shadipora Narambagh, following which a police team reached the spot and took the body into the police station.

A police officer told news agency that the body will be handed over to the family after completion of legal and medical formalities.(GNS)
