Missing man’s body recovered in Kokernag forests

Anantnag, Nov 24 : The body of a missing man has been recovered from the forest area of Larnoo in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, official said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Ghulam Mohammad Lone, son of Lassa Lone of Lessu Larnoo had gone to see his sheep in Lehnvan forest and didn’t return home since yesterday evening.

“Locals and police recovered his body from the forest area today afternoon,” he said.

He said police handed over the body to the family and initiated proceedings of suspicious death—(KNO)
