Says Our children deserve better education, and will not rest until they get it
The Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Sopore Constituency, Irshad Rasool Kar, on Wednesday visited various educational institutions in the Dangerpora block of the constituency.
During his visit to several educational institutions, including GMSS Duroo, KVG Mundgi, Higher Secondary Botengoo, and Middle School Mukam Shaidmir, MLA Sopore assessed the facilities being provided to students.
He also interacted with the teaching faculty and inquired about the resources available to students. He expressed deep concern over the lack of playgrounds at these institutions.
MLA Sopore instructed the officials present to ensure that all government schools in the Sopore constituency are equipped with adequate resources to create a dignified and conducive learning environment for students.
He reassured the people of the Zaingeer belt that he would raise all genuine issues related to improving education with the higher authorities to ensure that educational standards reach every corner of the Sopore constituency. “Our children deserve better, and we will not rest until they get it,” he said.
He further stated that teachers should prioritize improving the foundational skills of the students. “If their foundation is strong, the quality of education will automatically improve.”
The Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) of Dangerpora, along with several other officials, accompanied him during the visit to these institutions.
