The Members of the Legislative Assembly, including MLA Baramulla Mr Javaid Ahmad Beigh, MLA Uri Dr Sajad Shafi, and MLA Sopore Mr Irshad Ahmad, carried out an inspection of GMC Baramulla and its associated hospital.
Hon’ble MLAs were accompanied by the principal Dr (prof) Majid Jehangir, MS AH GMC Baramulla, Dr Parvaiz Masoodi, and other senior officials.
During the meeting, Dr Shumail, HOD, Chest Medicine, presented an overview of the medical college and associated hospital, highlighting achievements, deficiencies, and plans.
The MLAs applauded the staff’s dedication and efforts. The visit facilitated a constructive discussion on key issues, plans, and potential improvements for the institution.
