Mother-daughter among 4 test positive for coronavirus in Kupwara

Srinagar, April 22: The eve of Wednesday adds more fear and threat among the people in north Kashmir’s Frontier district as mother-daughter among four were tested positive for COVID-19 raises the toll in the district to 35.


Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said, with the fresh four positive COVID-19 cases added more anxiety among the Kupwara residents.


A health official giving details to Kashmir Despatch said, four more contacts of earlier positive patients from Anderhama village tested positive for this deadly virus today. He said that a mother-daughter is among the four positive cases who belonged to containment zone Drugmulla/Anderhama.


The total number of positive cases in district Kupwara now stands at 35.
