Mother-son injured in militant attack in Handwara

Srinagar, April 29 : Suspected militants this evening shot at a man in Kralgund area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said the suspected militants barged inside the house of Ali Mohammad Beigh son of Habibullah Beigh and fired upon him.
Reports said after the attack his mother fell unconscious on groud and due to minor heart attack.

However, both mother and son were rushed to nearby hospital where from doctors reffered injured man to Baramulla hospital for advanced treatment reports added.

Police officer while confirming the incident to Kashmir Despatch said area has been cordoned of to nab the attackers.
