SOPORE, Jan 23 : Councilor Irfan Ali along with the Municipal team of Sopore on Saturday afternoon rescued a patient in Shalimar Colony in Sopore area of North Kashmirs Baramulla district amid heavy snow.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a resident of Shalimar Colony Sopore developed health problem as family members were fining it difficult to shift the patient to the hospital.
Meanwhile, as soon as Municipal Council Sopore came to know the incident, Irfan Ali a Councilor along with other team members reached the spot and resuced the patient and took the patient to hospital.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch, Irfan Ali said, ” We came to know about the patient following which our team without wasting any time reached the spot and do whatever we could to bring the patient to the hospital”.
He added, “It was possible because of the team of Municipal Council of Sopore who helped out at the crucial time. Also we are making sure that snow is cleared from main roads and inner lanes”.
