Murder case registered against 3 family members after the death of a woman in Baramulla

Srinagar, Mar 23, :  Police registered a murder case against three family members after a woamn died in a scuffle with them in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.


Sources said that there was a scuffle between a woman Aisha Begum wife of Ghulam Hasan Beigh and his brother-in-law Abdul Rashid Beigh and two other family members at Yaribugh village of Baramulla.

Sources added that during the scuffle, 55 year old Aisha Begum felt unconscious. She was shifted to hospital where she died.


 While confirming the incident, a police official said that police station Dangiwacha has registered a murder case and arrested three family members including the brother-in-law of victim.


  “A case vide FIR number 26/2020 under section 147, 302 has been registered and investigation set into motion,” he said adding that the woman entered into the scuffle over some family matter. (KNT)
