“My Town My Pride” programme nothing but a mere showoff says Sopore Trade Body

Sopore, Oct 19 : As Government’s another initiative ‘My Town My Pride’ started across Jammu and Kashmir, a trade body in north Kashmir’s Sopore termed the programme a mere showoff to befool masses.
Talking with Kashmir Despatch, President Trade Body Sopore Hashmatulla Hashmi said that My Town My Pride is a flop initiative, where government is only busy for publicity trend. He said this is another flop step which is adding the sufferings of people as on ground level, there is no sign of development.
Hashim said, “Trade body was invited to participate in the function but unfortunately despite waiting almost hour outside we were not allowed inside. While termed this act of administration an improper he said we walk out from the function and protest against them.
Pertinently, As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent in the function most officials were absent as department has sent their pion for the participation. Also the Town head ADC was found absent during the first day of function which was held at Dak Banglow Sopore.
While in the same function a doctor took part in the function as officers were not found in the event. Meanwhile, locals in the town also termed this initiative as a show off work.
