Udhampur Panchayat Bags 2nd Position

SRINAGAR, Apr 17: Marking a Proud moment for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Sira-A panchayat of district Udhampur has bagged second position in child friendly category at National Panchayat awards week 2023 held in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi today.
Pertinent to mention here that the Ministry of Panchayati Raj has conferred the second prize to gram panchayat Sira- A of Latti Block of Udhampur District in child friendly Panchayat theme under Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar.
It was a moment of pride for the UT of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate the achievements of Sira -A Gram Panchayat and celebrate the second position that it bagged at National Panchayat Awards Week 2023, today at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The National Panchayat award 2023 has been dedicated to district administration Udhampur. Deputy Commissioner Krittika Jyotsna has congratulated the members of the said Panchayat and Team RDD for the achievement.
