NC MLA, Party Spokesperson Booked for Allegedly Assaulting Police Personnel

SRINAGAR, October 2: A National Conference MLA and party spokesperson has been booked by police for allegedly assaulting police personnel, according to a report published by Kashmir Dot Com on Friday.

The case was registered following an alleged altercation involving the legislator and police personnel.

Police have initiated proceedings in connection with the incident, while further details regarding the circumstances leading to the alleged assault were not immediately available.

The incident comes as the law-enforcement authorities continue to investigate the allegations against the legislator.
