Srinagar, Aug 25 : Former Minister Basharat Bukhari on Friday firmly dispelled rumors of his rejoining the People’s Democratic Party, clarifying that he has not contemplated such a move at this point.
Addressing speculations about his potential return to the party alongside two other Legislators, Bukhari, asserted that such claims are entirely inaccurate and that he hasn’t made any decisions on the matter yet.
He emphasized his intention to consider the opinions of the people and opt for the path that is deemed more beneficial.
Emphasizing the value of being an independent political leader, Bukhari pointed out that one can actively engage in elections and serve the public even without aligning with a particular party. He labeled the current chatter surrounding his political affiliations as mere rumors, affirming that no decisions have been made on his end.
Addressing the parallel speculation of a collective rejoining of the PDP, Bukhari maintained that he cannot provide any clarity on the matter as he is not in a position to confirm such news. (KNS)
