The Meteorological Department on Tuesday said that there is no threat of floods in the Kashmir valley. The announcement came after the Incessant Rains created panic among the people.
Deputy Director of the meteorological office, Mukhtar Ahmed said that a couple of days back people were complaining that there is a scarcity of water and where from now two days drizzle will become the source of the flood reported news agency KNT.
Kashmir Valley has been witnessing intermittent rainfall from past couple of days. On Tuesday, rains yet again lashed Valley, leaving people to speculate about the condition of the floods.
Mukhtar Ahmed said that the weather will improve from Wednesday late afternoon.
“There is no chance of any flood. Weather will improve on Wednesday,” he added.
