BARAMULLA, Nov 2: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Wednesday said that as a society “we all should know that no region allows anyone to kill innocent people.”

Addressing a gathering of students here, Dr Sehrish as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent said that no religion appreciates killers of innocent people; in fact, it is written the holy books, “whoever slays a soul, unless it is for a man slaughter or for mischief in the land, that one murder is equal to the killing of the whole of humanity.”

She stated that parents should make their children aware of such issues.

She said raising awareness about these issues among our children is very important, and everyone should allow their children to participate in such programmes and discussions.

The DC Baramulla said that the education sector in the district is her main priority, and her whole team is working with dedication for this sector.

She said let’s all think about how important peace is and what we can do to bring it into our homes and minds first, so that only then can societies be peaceful.
