A post Sir Syed Day 2021 meeting was held on 31.10.2021 at Wullar Resorts Watlab Sopore.
The meeting was convened by core members of AMU Old Boys Society North Kashmir with the objective of carrying forward the mission of great social reformer and visionary leader Sir Syed Ahmad Khan . The meeting was attended by members from all three districts of North Kashmir viz Bandipirar, Baramulla, and kupwpara. The agenda of general body meeting include immediate registration of the society, constitution of Organization body, aims and objectives, and framing of by-laws in consultation with legal experts.
All the issues were discussed threadbare. suggestion from all members were recorded and taken into consideration for future course of action. At the end it was unanimously decided that the society with full zeal will thrust on education field by providing counseling and financial assistance to deserving and meritorious students of J&K especially North Kashmir in terms of their admission in UG/PG courses as well as in Reserach filed both at national as well as international standard of institutions.
Futher it was decided that all the members will contribute generously to make this mission successful by maintaining transparency , credibility and regular auditory mechanisms.
It was stated that AMU Pass outs are spread around the globe and possess all required potential to work for welfare of J and K in present times and ahead-*The core group reiterated that each Alumini of AMU shall be brought under the ambit of this noble cause .
The society shall further expand its activities once formal process of registration and other required aspects are worked out as per timelines set in the meeting.
