Srinagar, May 1 : Continuing with his visit to the Valley, the Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Ranbir Singh on Wednesday reviewed the prevailing security situation and strategy for counter militant operations in North Kashmir.
He also held interactions with senior dignitaries at Badami Bagh Cantonment here.
Later in the day, the Army Commander also visited 144Th Battalion of Central Reserve Police deployed in Dal Lake. He appreciated the round the clock efforts of Paramilitary troops and their synergetic teamwork with the Army and J&K Police to maintain peace and tranquility in the Valley.
